I've been a JP since 2005 and have renewed my registration by taking and passing the JP exam in 2021. Therefore I am fully qualified to practice as a Justice of the Peace in NSW. My registration number is 140888. I was Appointed as a Court Appointed Questioner in 2023
I am also a member of the NSW Justices Association and am a member of the Tuggerah Lakes Branch, one of the hardest working branches in the network. I regularly attend the signing desks at various place in and around the central coast and Hunter Valley as a volunteer JP

Duty of Care
I have a duty of care every time I perform my tasks as a JP. A duty of care means I have a legal obligation to take reasonable care to avoid my clients actions or omissions causing harm to another person.
According the JP Handbook issued by the Department of Communities and Justice, to fulfill any duty of care I must:
- Complete the steps that are required by law, honestly and carefully This includes following any instruction in the document and, for affidavits and statutory declarations, certifying that I have confirmed the persons identity.
- Take any additional steps which are reasonable in the circumstances, such as seeking advice when I may be unsure about the specific requirements
- I cannot give any legal advise at any stage but may be able to suggest how a person can satisfy their legal requirements
